Central New Mexico Housing Corporation’s Mission is “to help the low income families of New Mexico make their homes energy efficient”; one, by educating our clients on energy saving measures and two, by performing all possible energy saving measures on their homes, which will in turn lower their monthly energy usage, lower their monthly bills and create a more energy efficient home for their families.

High energy costs are an excessive burden on low-income Americans. Weatherization alleviates this burden and improves the standard of living for these individuals and families. Central New Mexico Housing Corporation works in conjunction with local, state and federal programs to permanently reduce the energy bills of low-income families by making their homes more energy efficient.

The application can also be downloaded, completed, and mailed in, emailed, or faxed, with backup documentation. Work on homes will be phased in, following state guidelines and safety protocols, as we work to protect our clients and employees.
